Ever said that?  Well, there are times when it's to your benefit to get involved.  Ever heard it said:

"You get out of it what you put into it."?

Of course you have.  Benefit is proportional to investment.  In your business, you expect to receive from it in proportion (hopefully positive) to the effort you put into it.

The same is true for your Powder Springs Business Association involvement.  Your board is looking for folks who want to contribute.  Committees need help.  Get involved.

One critical opening we have is for an "At Large" board member.  Our bylaws stipulate that the board have one at large member who actually has no other specific duties other than to represent the membership on the board.  All you have to do is attend the board meetings and provide input to decision about various activities.  If any one of you would like to volunteer for this position, let me know.
